Back story: These shorts are from when I was hmm...14 maybe? When I wanted sear sucker shorts so badly that after not finding any in women's or juniors, I bought a pair from the little boys section. True Life. Only one problem. These shorts are super high waisted, so I could never just wear a cute tank, always had to be a long top to go over. No problem though because I've had a long torso since I was 12 and could never find shirts long enough for me.
My mom actually surprised me and made these shorts on her own. She was emptying my closet and cleaning up some of my old bedroom and came across these old shorts. She started the scallop shorts project and surprised me with them on Memorial Day weekend! Like seriously, how cute are they? I told you, she is a sew wizard!
Now, she is working on making me another pair, but light pink this time, I am so excited and can't wait to get them!
Now, I've found a few pictures from my thumb drive that I had from our rehearsal dinner slide show. Random, I know. But there are some pictures of me in a few other outfits that my Mom made for me as a little girl, and they are so good that I just had to share!
Both of the two outfits above are my Mom's creation! Yep, if you stare closely to picture on left, you seen I had matching socks too! I was a fashionista in the making at a mere 3 years old! Picture on right; everything including that hat was all hand made. She's got skills people! Can I have 1/3 of those genes?

Those shorts are too cute! I love when mom's make their kids clothes. My mom made TONS of my clothing when I was younger and I should have learned from her. She also made me Minnie one year! :)
